The Psychopath Test – by Jon Ronson

After I read this book, I diagnosing everyone I knew! It tells a true story of a reporter who is investigating psychopath behavior. He comes across the psychopath test and wants to see if it’s a valid diagnostic tool. He starts researching it and discovers an actual experiment conducted in Canada.
The test was given to men who were convicted of a violent crime. The felons who scored high on the test and labeled psychopath are put in a group facility and given large amounts of acid to see if they could develop empathy.
The actual experiment is quite ridiculous to read, as it was not a controlled study group. It made me think about mico dosing for mental health. This may have been a crude beginning.
